Compare Two Jobs' AI Risk Side by Side

Pick any two occupations to compare their generative-AI exposure, how it splits between what AI could do and what it is used for, and the official US jobs outlook.

Choose a job from each list, then select Compare.

Exposure runs from 0 to 100 and compares occupations with each other, using public datasets (see sources). It is not a probability that the job disappears. Methodology

Frequently asked questions

Q.What do the figures mean?

The exposure index (0–100) shows how much of an occupation's work generative AI can do or is already used for, relative to 189 occupations, calculated from public datasets. The US figures are BLS projections. Neither is a prediction about any individual.

Q.Can I compare any two jobs?

Yes. Pick any occupation from each list to see both exposure figures, their theoretical and observed components, the BLS category, the projected US employment change and the median wage.

Q.Why compare jobs instead of reading one figure?

A single number is easier to interpret next to a reference point. Comparing two roles shows which tasks tend to be more exposed and which depend on judgment, interaction, or physical presence, which is often more useful than an absolute figure for career or study decisions.

Q.How current is the comparison?

Both sides use the current editions of the same public datasets, so the comparison is like for like. The data date is shown in the sources.
